New feature on Hikes With Scott

Favoured : None

I have added a new feature to the hikes listed in the Hikes with Scott Calendar:  weather forecasts.  So when you open a calendar item to print out details of the hike / directions to the trailhead, you will also get a 2-day weather forecast broadcast from a weather station closest to the hiking area.  I hope this helps with your planning.  See you on the summits!

The Future

Favoured : None

What can you expect at Willoughby Forest
in the next 10 years?

Lots.

We are currently working to establish a woods-grown ginseng farm.  We did an experimental planting in 2006 and if the crop appears successful we will move forward with additional plantings in 2009.
