Continuing to get ready for that traverse... Let's hit the southern Presidentials!

The southern presidentials -- need I say more? "The hills are alive.... with the sound of..." gay hikers.

The Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail is the most direct western route to Mount Washington. Once we summit we'll hike out via the Crawford Path, traverseing all of the southern Preseidentials on the way.

Equipment: Day hike gear. Be prepared for changing weather -- good foot wear -- daypacks.

Directions to Trailhead: From US 3 north of I-93, NH, Travel approximately 8.5 miles east on Route 302 from its intersection with Route 3 in Twin Mountain. A 50 car parking lot is located just off the Mt. Clinton Road. (The trail can also be accessed from Route 302).

We need to meet at 8:30 am -- leave a car or two and drive everyone over to the Ammonoosuc Ravine Trailhead.

Difficulty Level: Moderate to Strenuous
