Two hikes have been rescheduled: The Southern Presidential Traverse and the Presidential Traverse.
The Southern Presidential Traverse, originally scheduled for June 27 2009 will take place 1 day later on June 28 2009.
The Presidential Traverse, originally scheduled for August 1 2009 will take place 1 week later on August 8 2009.
A mobile podcast "live" from the summit of Lafayette on May 9 2009 - TAKE 2! Although the day started great by the time we got to Lafayette it was socked in and windy which affected the SummitCast. ON the other hand, I may need to tweak my technology to make sure I get a good signal. Any suggestions? Shoot me an email.

As I sit here on what I am sure will be the warmest day of December 2008, I
think its about time to plan for Presidential Traverse 2009 (and more).
I have sorely missed hiking this fall and know I will miss it more this
winter. Why you ask? Firefighter training. Each
Thursday (evening) and Sunday (all day) from October 2008 - May 2009! Its
a BIG commitment as it means not just knowledge but skill. The
schedule means I will need to postpone the annual Presidential Traverse until
August 1. (Not enough prep time). So here is the plan -- I hope you join
me hiking around the White Mountains. Not a hiker but a paddler, join us
for a trip on the Allagash Wilderness Waterway!
